Admission Process

At The Oxford Public School, we follow a transparent and structured admission process to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for parents and students. Our admissions are based on academic merit, age eligibility, and an entrance assessment to place students in the appropriate learning environment.

Step 1: Registration

  • Admissions are open throughout the year, and parents can register their child by filling out and submitting the registration form available at the school.
  • Upon registration, parents will receive detailed information about admission dates and procedures.

Step 2: Submission of Application Form

  • During the official admission period, parents must submit the completed admission application form along with the required documents.
  • A non-refundable admission processing fee must be paid at the time of submission.

Step 3: Age Eligibility Criteria

  • For admission to L.K.G, a child must have completed 3 years by December of the academic year.
  • Age eligibility criteria apply correspondingly for other higher classes as per school regulations.

Step 4: Entrance Examination & Interview

  • Admissions are based on merit, and students will be required to appear for an entrance exam and a brief interview.
  • The entrance test evaluates basic skills in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge, ensuring the child’s readiness for the class they are applying for.
  • After the assessment, students and parents will have a one-on-one counseling session with the academic coordinator to discuss the child's learning needs, strengths, and academic plan.

Step 5: Submission of Required Documents

At the time of admission, parents must submit the following documents:

Mandatory Documents:

  • Transfer Certificate (TC) – Countersigned by the proper authority (for students transferring from other schools).
  • Birth Certificate – Proof of date of birth.
  • Community Certificate – Required for category verification, if applicable.
  • TConduct Certificate – Mandatory for students applying for Standard VI and above.
  • EMIS Number – (If applicable, for students from other recognized institutions).
  • Aadhaar Card – Identity verification of the student.
  • Passport Size Photograph – Recent, clear, and in school dress code (if applicable).

Step 6: Admission Confirmation & Fee Payment

  • After successful completion of the entrance test, interview, and document verification, parents will receive confirmation of admission.
  • Parents must pay the necessary school fees within the stipulated time to secure their child’s admission.

Step 7: Orientation & Academic Induction

Newly admitted students will undergo an orientation session, where they are introduced to:

  • The school environment, rules, and curriculum.
  • TClass teachers, coordinators, and peers.
  • The school’s learning methodology and co-curricular activities.
